Multiplayer Server IP Ranges

Hello.

I administer a University network. We have students that wish to play Titanfall on the PC which would require us to open the firewall up. We are happy to do so on the ports specified, but not to all external locations. We therefore require an IP list of all the servers that gamers could potentially connect to when playing this game. For example, League of Legends provide people with this information which has allowed us to support that game on our network.

From what I've read online, I am of the impression that Titanfall games will be hosted entirely on Microsoft's Azure datacentres, where I've been able to find a complete list of IP addresses here.

Can someone from EA please confirm that all multiplayers game are actually hosted on those IP ranges, or if not, provide us with an appropriate list of IP addresses.

    We'll look into this and let you know when we have more information.

    (Also, we think it's pretty cool of you guys to allow your students to game on your network - not all universities do)

    Hi eafrancois.

    Has there been any updates with this? Do you think you'll be able to get the information?

    I have already opened the ports to the Microsoft Azure servers, but don't have a copy of the game myself to test it (and don't want to tell the students it works for them to spend money buying the game only to find it doesn't work).

    Is your universaity Internet connection is all sharing the same WAN address?

    I am interested to see if multiplayer can play at the same time on the same WAN address as this doesn't work for me at home with two PCs.

    @DaveNCL : I'm yet to hear back on this specific question. I'll see if I can get an answer sooner rather than later.

    Hello mobuzzing.

    No, we own a pool of 65,536 WAN addresses, so we can give each user their own unique IP address 🙂

    Hi,

    I'm in the same boat as you Dave. I'm another Uni network admin whose students have asked us to open our firewall for Titanfall. I hope EA can provide the address range soon as I'm also getting hounded constantly.

    Just received another request for Titanfall but on XBO this time. Are the dedicated servers the same for PC as for the XBO?

    kasman, these are the servers that I've opened up on our Firewall, but unfortunately none of the students have actually purchased the game yet to test out whether it now works (as I can't confirm it will, and I wouldn't like to see them spend money on the game to find it doesn't). If any of your students already has the game, maybe you could try adding these ranges and letting us know whether it works.
