[PC] - Game wont boot - Engine Error: Couldn't initialize sound
Whenever I boot the game this error message comes up:
Couldn't initialize sound.
Please make sure you have a sound playback device that is enabled and properly configured.
Failed in: MilesBankGetStatus
Miles output follows:
Streaming source r2\sound\general_stream_patch_8.mstr is not a Miles Stream.
I have tried many different supposed fixes and none have worked so far, if anyone knows how to help please get back to me as soon as possible.

Can we try the following if you have not?
- Repair your game via the EA App - Repair (Library > Tile Dots > Repair)
- Verify the game in via your Steam library
- Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Check Drivers, Default to High-Performance GPU: Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Restart your device in Clean Boot mode first then try again.
If this continues would it be possible to get a DxDiag file?
