Currently struggling to find a solution to set Titanfall 2's audio to 7.1 surround sound. The default device is a Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma. Calibrated it in Razer Synapse, surround seems to be working fine. Can't configure the headphones to 7.1 in Windows sound settings. Any ideas?

Cool headset! Was thinking of getting myself one as well. So in Titanfall 2 it is not recognized as a 7.1 device? Or you can`t set it up in Windows and this is causes issues in game? Does any other game works correctly with your headset? Have you tried solutions from manufacturer`s article on this headset?

Same headset as me, Razer Kraken 7.1 Chroma.
Titanfall recognises the headset as Stereo instead of surround 7.1.
Also comes with audio stutters, while the frames on the origin counter stay exactly the same the game itself stops for a small amount of time.
Not sure if its linked to each other.
But the page you referenced has no advice to fixing the issue either.
Seen lots of pages about the sound cracking issue impacting frames, and that many stereo headset users are stuck in 7.1 mode. Seems like your game is getting it backwards.
Maybe fixing this will getting it backwards issue will fix the game itself stuttering.
