Hey @UpperAngel Can you check the following first:
- You've connected your Steam and EA accounts
- You are signed in with the accounts you linked in both the Steam and EA app clients.
If so can we try the following steps?
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Repair Games (Go to My Collection > Select the tile Dots > Repair) Or Verify the game in your Steam library
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
Hey @EA_Illium I did the steps you suggested,
I cleared the cache and verified the game on steam.
the game still doesn't launch.I have had the same issue I'm launching Titanfall2 from steam, it installs the ea app then I get the same message as yourself.
I fixed the issue by uninstalling the ea app.
Reinstalled origin to the default location.
Then go back on my steam account and launch titanfall2 when the installation request pops up for the ea app, click the close button and don't install it.
Origin then takes over and Titanfall 2 loads.
What a nightmare.
So all I can say is the new EA app replacement has an issue with launching Titanfall2. as it does the same when launching the origin version.
I just uninstalled the ea app and reinstalled origin, unfortunately I'm not sure how long this will be possible as they seem to be fazing out the origin app.
Hope this help
How did you install the Origin app? I have tried to install it but i can only install the EA app, i haven't been able to play for 2 days now and it's getting annoying.
I found a solution, i extracted origin download files from my brothers pc to my phone and then copied it to my pc and installed it, im so glad that it worked!
