So far I have downloaded that DLL package, update bios, running in window mode and disabled V-sync. Still crashing. This is the detailed error description.

Hmmm, seems my problem isn't fixed yet, though I can play a few rounds without a crash now. I now get a nvidia related crash and found this solution for it, gonna try it tomorrow.

So since I got back, I tried an 'Update' of titanfall from the origin menu. It did an update, which appears to have added the files contained in the platform.rar
Now it works - I've just played a game - too bad I've got work tomorrow!
