Type: Nvidia GTX 660 Ti 2Gb
Manufacturer: Gainward
Model #: Sorry, I have no i dea where to find this model name.
Have tried several fixes, nothing worked. I did found some guy's fix on youtube that requires another machine that is running a working (not crashing) Titanfall game, and copying 2 missing files from the game's "Platform" folder. But I don't have another Origin account so I can't try this. Maybe someone that doesn't have this issue might provide us with the missing files so we can test this fix, otherwise we'll just have to wait for an actual fix and since it's been so long since release and the devs haven't fixed it yet, it apparently means they really don't care or that their coding skills are the same as my knitting skills.
So is there a competition between EA and Ubi for the worst companies with shoddy game releases and no actual fixes? ACU runs like a rotten potato on high end PC's, Battlefield eats a buttload of ram, and I had the unfortunate inspiration to prepurchase it and had a terrible experience until after some patches and a hefty ram upgrade (few months later).

Hey all. I have been having this issue right after the patch after launch. So, you can say it has been almost a year. Just last week I resolved it. I posted the story here. Basically for me, upgrading from Vista Ultimate 64 to WIndows 7 64 did not help. Upgrading from 8GB to 16GB of RAM smoothed things out but did not help the game. Key factor over time that narrowed down my search was something to do with Video card crashing and thought of something. Maybe I am loading too much into the card. I only have a 650 Ti with 1GB of RAM. Other games seem to manage this well but I pressume Titanfall lacks this. My suspicions were confirmed when I say a post about changing texture settings. So, here is the into and here is the link to my original post of my graphic settings. So far, 1 week and not a hitch.
Key thing is someone testing the texture mem size for ultra settings, it is like 3.9GB in size. You will need 4GB or more of video memory (not with system) to handle this. I found out medium works best for 1GB cards. Here is the link to the other forum to keep from trying it all over again.

I am going around posting this at places I looked for help because I know how it is when you are getting a kill streak and end up at the desktop wth the crash message. Pissed me off to hell and back. DOn't know if this has to be fixed by the Titanfall devs for better memory management with video or with NVidia's Geforce Exprience to set the proper optimized settings for the amount of physical video memory your GPU has.
