I just encountered the same problem while playing Titanfall after I bought it, game time lasted a little under 2 hours.. It was during a map switch when my computer froze and looped a "drrrrrrrrrrr" sound continuously until I hit the off switch on my computer. On the reboot however, it also failed , telling me that Bootmgr was missing.. the crash had resulted in my boot order being screwed up. The boot order was now the disk that Titanfall was installed on, a 2tb WD 6gb/s SATA disk.. with no OS on. Changing it to my raptor, got loaded back into windows, but have not tried it yet. I just recently switched out my Corsair CX 650W with a Corsair AX 860W Platinum PSU, while doing so, I took my computer completely apart and cleaned it thoroughly before assembling it again.
Here are my specs :
Processor : Intel Core? i5 Quad Processor i5-2500K
Memory : Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600Mhz 8GB CL9.
GPU : EVGA GeForce GTX580 1536MB PhysX CUDA (Newest Driver)
MB : ASUS P8P67 EVO, Socket-1155
This is sufficiant to play BF4 on ultra, BF3 on ultra, Wow on max settings in a full raid. EVE online, Sniper Elite 4, Crysis 3, HoN , SCII, War Thunder, Diablo 3, Tribes Ascend, Dark Souls II, Path of Exile, CS GO, Heroes of Newerth, Heroes of the Storm, Dota II.... the list goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on... except Titanfall.
The temperatures are clean across the board:
With my CPU and MB around 30-35 degrees and my GPU is monitored by Afterburner and staying firmly around 70 degrees in high stress situations.
Please fix your game!
