Re: Game crashes at loading screen every time. Nvidia driver error message

Thanks,

Are you using SLI?

Are both monitors connected to one GPU?

Let us know more about these kinds of details of your configuration please.

I am not using SLI, just one 560ti.

    My PSU is 650W.

I can still play other games fine. (Have recently tested BF4 and Skyrim)

Both monitors are hooked up to the GPU, the main one via DVI, and the second one via HDMI. I have tried unplugging the HDMI monitor to see if it was a dual screen issue but it still crashed.

Since my last reply I have also tried:

changing the TDR for my graphics driver to 8 seconds instead of the default 2 in an attempt to bypass the hangup. (this actaully made it worse, still crashed, but in doing so it also froze my entire desktop.) Have since restored default registries.

I also re-seated and dusted my GPU (even though it's not an over-heating issue). Still crashes.

    Please try the following:

    1. Download most recent WHQL nvidia driver package: http://www.geforce.com/drivers
    2. Uninstall nvidia drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_13955.html
    3. Install most recent WHQL drivers, when installing an Nvidia driver please choose the advanced install and tick the box for "perform a clean installation".
    4. Perform a clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
    5. Play TF.

Let us know if this procedure still crashes the driver please.

There are two error messages, but they didn't really tell me any new info.

One was event ID 4101 "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

The other was event ID 1002 "The program TitanFall.exe version 1.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel. Process ID: 870"
