It's likely the same bug that I've described here:

Reinstalling didn't work for me, neither did repairing, cleaning TEMP folders, or cleaning the registry. Chatting with EA tech support did not provide any more advice either.

(It seems I've started the thread only after you did, I must have missed it. Sorry for that.)
