Re: Nuke eject in Titaifall 2?

I am sure it was done to prevent the ronin from phase shifting closer and then nuke ejecting to get kills. It would become a very common tactic once there were more than a few enemy titans on the field. Even if you take the phase shift ability out of play, it is still a tactic which was overly used in TF1. Players would regularly sacrifice their titans to attempt and easy kill. Now they will have to kill titans the old fashioned way.

Yep I suspect that's a factor, Hitman. It's still a common tactic, and quite useful. I find myself saving a dash in some fights, to be sure that I can get clear if I don't get the execution.

I still smile if I'm down to "doomed" when the AI titan phase begins in Bounty Hunt. Run up to the Titan, give him a big ol' hug and pop your nuke. You usually do 90+% damage and get a very easy 500-ish Frontier Bucks and a "free" titan.
