Hey Guys, I want to get a tally of all graphics cards affected by this issue. I believe it to be specific to the cards specifically and want to see if this will help isolate the issue. I will update the counts as people post.

I should also note it looks like that materialsystem_dx11.dll might be pretty generic. It may crash for many reasons. So this thread may just be annoying to the developers and not very helpful, but if you are planning an upgrade, I would consider this a buyer beware.

Please provide the following information:

Manufacturer: PowerColor

Try these setting and see if they help:

Anti-Aliasing 4x MSAA

Texture Filtering Anisotropic 8x

Mine were maxed out, since I lowered the values I crash less frequently, so far... If this works please post on the orginal thread:

Heya everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that we will be looking into these crash reports that appear to be solely affecting nVidia GTX users in the 5xx-7xx range.

At this stage, the one thing I would advise is trying to disable any overlays. As some had mentioned that your v-sync settings were non-standard, I would also suggest that you set your nvidia control panel settings back to default.

Additionally, you can check whether installing a different version of your gpu driver alleviates the crashing.

Cheers,

Nils
