- @EA_Mako Do we have any news on progress made towards actually fixing the issues that make the game near unplayable or at the very, VERY least unstable as hell?
@EA_Makois there anything happening to fix it at all? Back in April Respawn said help was coming ASAP, here we are in the middle of October, still waiting to see said help, in any sense of the word.
- @CursedAuroran Building on your post; I'd like to know if the issues with party play (dropping party, connection to matchmaking, absurdly long wait before match connection) are being fixed. Also, if any of the technicians could make a player blacklist so you don't have to connect to their games, that'd be great. To not have to play with toxic and/or cheating players would be top notch.
@EA_Mako
We from the Titanfall community do not care how long this fight will take. We will keep demanding that the servers are fixed for as long as we live.
We have not heard anything in ages, thus we have no damn clue if any progress is being made at all. Our patience is very much running out.
We have been brought to our knees by the attackers, yet we rose back up to fight. The game has not died by any means, nor will it any time soon.
Our battles may not be very visible to most, but it quite honestly baffles me that Respawn has been able to ignore this many reports of issues and complaints, yet they still have done nothing to actually resolve the issue.When we need to force media attention to even get a PR statement out of Respawn, it does not look good, but, if that is what we must do, we shall get #savetitanfall trending again, and this time we wont stop at the first sign of Respawn giving in to our demands for functional servers.
Let me be clear, Respawn has broken the trust of the Titanfall community by continuously teasing us with Titanfall content in Apex Legends, while not resolving the issues that make the original games very susceptible to DoS attacks.
Any promises of help will very likely be met with criticism and doubt, given that any previous promises were not held either.
Its your turn Respawn.
Are you going to help, or are you going to ignore the cries for help, and continue to drive away your most loyal fans?How long do you think the issues will persist? Titanfall 2 is my favorite game and I'm really sad that its multiplayer is suffering like this
- @Buckle_Up4 Until someone cashes up a small fortune from their own pockets and gift it to Respawn to use specifically for hiring a couple of decent server technicians and programmers to re-code the vulnerabilities that are being exploited.
The issue will simply persist. Until the very moment Respawn/EA actually does something, the only way to play Titanfall 2 multiplayer will be through the community made northstar client, which, unfortunately, does not include any gamemodes that contain PvE elements, due to AI being handled serverside, and thus, not being reverse engineerable from the standard Titanfall 2 code.
The reality of the situation is, unfortunately, in all likelyhood, that PvE gamemodes will never again be playable, unless Respawn/EA fixes their servers or releases the code they used for the AI.
I am not going to hold my breath on this one. Respawn/EA have continuously proven that they cannot be trusted to live up to their promises. We are rapidly approaching the 1 year mark of Respawns tweet, telling us help was coming. Thus far, we have yet to see the first signs of improvement.
Standby for Titanfall, pilots.
Just felt like adding to your last message. It's March 2023, and we're still having the server connectivity problems. Clearly they wish we would all just go away, and that they never created the Titanfall franchise even though it's what brought them Apex Legends.
