I started having the tier0.dll missing error in the last few weeks following the big Windows update that came out in July.  NobodySpecial181's recommended fix worked for me.  Thank you for the suggestion!

@scarhiem Not sure if this thread is on point, but hopefully it's something that may help.

I cant start the game. I did all the steps u wrote down. When I try to start the game, there is allways the same Error-Message with the file tier0.dll.

Maybe some of you could help me. Thanks a lot

the solution posted no longer works in 2022

I used this solution for years and it worked, but in 2022 I can only get into the main menu. As soon as I press "Launch Multiplayer" I enter the multiplayer menu and crash to desktop. That is after complete uninstalls and registry wipe, reinstall etc.

so I play on pc on origin. I did what nobodyspecial181 said and it didn't work, and then i got into origin and updated titanfall 2 even tho it didn't need an update, and it fixed it for me.

how do I find it is it in the steam apps folder if it is I can't seem to find steam apps

I found it here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Titanfall2\__Installer\vc

Doesn't work. The game used to launch and play, but only for a few times. Then it started displaying screen saying "linking accounts in progress", or something like that, and it was referring to Origin. Since Origin is obsolete and they moved to EA, I uninstalled Origin and now I can't launch the game at all - neither from EA nor from Steam. There's no error message, the game just doesn't launch. Steam support refers to EA (though it's Steam who got my money), EA has no support at all. Information found in the forum doesn't work and there's no direct contact with EA. A very fine game, otherwise, stopped working and that's it.

this still didnt work, i tried it in both the vc 2010sp1 folder and the vc2012update4 folder, neither of the .exes worked
