No it's not absurd, it's standard practice. You always return faulty wares to the place where you bought them.

    My Grunt came broken as well and I can't believe no calm and sense was used when packing the grunts. Even plastic can be fragile as we all witnessed here. I own over 100 statues and I can tell you that all statue pieces need to fit completely snug without any movement during shipment to withstand damage from poor deliveries. The grunts had room inside to move around; therefore resulting the grunt to push the barrel against the styrofoam resulting in damage. very poor design for packing the grunts and who in the world makes an over sized box with no handles, but instead puts a huge slippery slip cover that gamestop employees ripped many tears in mine due to the awkward way you have to pick it up with no handles. It was almost a perfect packing job, but things like handles on a box is calm and sense! All collector edition games should have the collector steel book case and not the regular edition game they chose to include instead. With most statue companies such as sideshow collectibles they will have replacement parts for statues that take damage and EA should have replacements for the grunts because the main company should have the replacement parts. EA should replace any damaged pieces. Statues always have to have replacement parts because of situations where customers paid for an item that is rare and if it arrives broken they are still entitled to get a replacement and not be told instead they are sold out when it was the companies fault for poor packing and should not punish the customer by telling them they are screwed for a replacement. I'm tired of getting ruined packing and damaged items because you have to pack snuggly. Who designs these horrible boxes because I can make them better! Thanks

    Has anyone got the broken gun barrel figurine sorted out? EA support tried to bounce me to Microsoft indicating they were handling this...but MS told me that is not true, and EA need to handle this.
