RECURRING PROBLEM "ORIGIN Error retrieving player data from storage - code 404"

I have noticed this has happened to various people on trying to play Titanfall.

On clicking Play, the game proceeds to connect, however, after loading, an error message (as shown the subject) appears, which seems as if the players profile cannot be found. When Googling this error and it's code, it is unusual as the code itself is different (503, 401, etc).

I am deeply disappointed with this. I was rather excited to play Titanfall, as it looks like a fantastic game.

If anyone knows anyway to help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey guys,

A fix was put in place that should allow you to jump right into the game.

Could you please try again and let us know if you are able to get on?

Same here, just installed for the first time and cannot log in at all.

same problem here. Just bought the damn game, and can't even play the first level! Awesome! *sigh*

So nice of you EA. I finally got the chance to play it with game time and it doesnt work. And just to make it better for some reason it's saying 40 mins and not 2 days (I just activated it!)

I have the same problem mate - guess we have to wait for EA to fix this.

Had The same problem we should send in a message to EA and tell them to f*** fix. I just bought it and can't play it. I don't want to wait for a new update

I bought it, downloaded it, installed it, and attempted t run it...Got the following:
"Lost Connection To Server.
Disconnect: ORIGIN error retrieving player data from storage- code 404". so NOW what? Been waiting 6 months to buy and play....not smiling.
