(Steam) Titanfall 2 Failed to launch error on EA desktop

I have contacted support several times and at the end they told me to post this here. Whenever I try to launch Titanfall 2 on steam, EA desktop comes up with an error stating: "Failed to launch game....

    I FIXED IT!!!
    Turns out I had the origin version still installed and that was messing everything up.
