I'm also having the exact same problem.
When I load the game, the first map starts just fine. I play through the game (but I DO get the "retrying connection" for a few seconds once in a while during the match) and it successfully completes and loads back into the lobby with all the other players and begins the countdown for the next game.
After the countdown, the loading screen just stays there spinning forever.
I also have a DLink router, but I'm not comfortable putting it in DMZ mode.
Currently my work around is to play the first match, leave the lobby and go back to my private lobby, and then start a new match. Usually that can get me into a second game, but it doesn't always work. Plus, this way if I find a team I like I can't stay with them.

I'm having the same problem.
I can play the first game i join completely without any issues or retry connection as some of you guys have, but after the lobby countdown, the second game starts and the loading screen freezes. After some time it unfreezes and I get a "server timed out" error message and I'm unable to join any game again unless I restart the game.
This didn't happen on the Beta, ever.
I recently contacted EA by chat and they told me to uninstall the game and reinstall and if the issue was not resolved to disable the antivirus.
I will try it out since i thought that the uninstall thing would help before i contacted EA, yet I have my doubts. I'll post you guys the outcome.
