TF 2 owned and launchable on steam with EA Play but not playable from Origin
So I tried the game (Titanfall 2) at the free weekend and really liked it. I thought about buying the game, but instead opted for an EA Play subscription through Steam. The game was installed but not playable before the subscription on Steam, and it became playable on Steam after the subscription but stayed unplayable on Origin (like it was after the free weekend and before the EA Play subscription).
-->I could play it from Steam, but not from Origin after getting the game with EA Play on Steam: There wasn't a play button on Origin and the game cover was whitened.
(picture attached)
-->I removed the game from my account on Steam, (hoping it would get unlinked from Origin, then relinked after reinstalling) added it once more to my account via EA Play and tried to reinstall the game. (from Steam, as there was no "uninstall" option on normal Origin. I think it can be uninstalled with Origin after launching the game from steam but I'm not sure as that may also uninstall the game through Steam.)
-->After the reinstallation nothing changed. The game is still whitened on Origin and playable through Steam.
-->I'm not sure why, but after launching the game from Steam, I (seemingly) can uninstall the game from Origin and there is a play button on Origin that seems to do nothing. The cover stays whitened.
-->The game launches in windowed mode regardless of the last selected display mode, I don't think that this is relevant though, as other options remain the same.
I suspect, that the linking system is currently bugged.
Even though I can play the game from Steam without any problems, I would also like to be able to play it from Origin. I restarted my computer a few times, both before and after reinstalling.
People have had similar problems after the free weekend but I couldn't find an answer directly addressing my question. If there was an answer before, it would be great if someone could link it. If there is not, then hopefully someone can help.
Thanks in advance.
