This profile is not permitted to play online. Xbox OneS. Power Cycle doesn't fix

Had just cancelled my Xbox Game Pass a few weeks ago, but reactivated the subscription. Which shouldn't be required(?) - I redownloaded this game after I cancelled and the subscription lapsed (because the Game Pass tab disappears leaving only my "Owned" games)

But wouldn't you know it - resubscribe, reboot Xbox and it works. So like, crazy thought bear with me here - why not just say "you need a subscription to play"?

To check did you own Titanfall 2 prior to getting an Xbox Subscription? If so, we may have been running into an entitlement issue, aside from that Xbox gold (now Xbox Game Pass Core) is required to access the multiple sections of most games. 

My guess is without the sub you had been subscribed to, it was missing that in order to access multiplayer.

I was playing a match 2 days ago and during which I shut down the game and reopened it. But when I went back on to titanfall 2 the multiplayer won't open up anymore, it simply says that my profile is not permitted to play online.

Any help? 

I’m having the same issue and dont know what to do

I played titanfall 2 day before yesterday, and when I got on yesterday, the multiplayer said “this account isn’t permitted to play online”
