idk why they want to attack TF, I thought they were the ones trying to save it since the messages on apex they made
@PRDX-Night_Skull Those people aren't the same ones that hacked Apex Legends. This is the same b*tthole that has made the first Titanfall unplayable by attacking the servers and flooding them with racist nonsense. I can't remember his name - starts with a J, but that's all I remember. The running theory on Reddit is that it's a former Respawn dev doing it - but whoever it is, EA should be fixing it, finding out who it is, and prosecuting him/her to the full extent of the law. Not just sitting around and ignoring it.
Personally, I feel the biggest problem is going to cloud-based server systems through MS and Amazon instead of having sourced servers that allows the communities to rent like they used to with Counter-Strike, Battlefield, and other games. (Battlefield stopped doing it with BF1 - and that's part of why I've lost some of my enthusiasm over Battlefield as well) I mean - the server structure is effed anyway. Any game where I ping to the data center I connect to with a sub-20 ping (1.2 gb internet through XFinity), and the my in-game ping is 70-80 - there's something basically wrong with that. But when I play a game where I connect directly to a server, my ping is about 10-20. Cloud-based servers are a bad idea, IMHO, and the fact that one person can shut them down like this shows that I'm correct.

Your ping situation sounds like a dream compared to me and most others. But apex has been the least tolerant game to bad internet. I hope they prosecute the person too. And they definitely need better security
