@EA_Atic I was one of two volunteer moderators of the old Respawn official Titanfall 2 forums. Been playing the game since the first Titanfall was brand new. Giving bad advice like performing a clean boot and asking for dx_diag is ridiculous. It smacks of a dodge of the real issue.
This is a DDOS attack or something similar. As of today - 7/26/2021 at 1:20 pm PST - Titanfall 2 is unplayable in multi-player and has been for over 24 hours. The original Titanfall is completely unplayable as usual. Yet EA / Respawn is still selling the games on Steam and Origin and other platforms. It's not a client issue. It's a server issue. The server infrastructure has been vulnerable to this for years, yet EA / Respawn does nothing about it, other than continue to sell the games.
I wouldn't complain if you weren't still selling the games. I understand the lifecycle of games/software, having been in the industry myself for decades. I can accept that. However - the problem is, you're still selling the games. Before the DDOS started yesterday, on the PC servers, there were nearly 5000 people playing the game.
Either fix it, stop selling it, or refund everyone who's bought the game since 2017 when you all abandoned the Titanfall fanbase.
