The important thing to note here, is that while the Intel 3165 can work with both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows...the Wi-Fi 6 ones only work with 64 bit windows.
I feel like I mentioned this in a previous post...most likely I did.
I tried to connect to the game server by using an eGPU that has an ethernet port on it. Specifically the 2080ti Gaming Box from Gigabyte. That didn't work. Trying to bypass the wifi card alone is not enough. So, I'm still stuck in terms of what to do. The only remaining hypothesis is that computers that are built with Wifi 6 cards or similar must have some software missing that prevents 32 bit applications from connecting to the internet. Or, the 32 bit application tries to connect to the internet, but the 64 bit operating system doesn't know how to communicate. So, in short, program dies midway through.

When you have a chance would you mind sharing your DxDiag here as well? That way I can also forward that along to the team. For more info on how to pull it up check out the EA Help site. You can attach the text file to this thread once you have it. Thanks!

- 5 years ago@EA_Kent there might be a problem in certain regions as well. I have a new laptop, same model as the old one, and tried to play titanfall again. but the problem might also be with the model.

Throwing my hat in the ring on this, had the game almost since launch, all of a sudden I'm getting the data center error and a constant "retrieving matchmaking list" error when trying to join either multiplayer mode. New system built in March but reusing my old SSDs, but I'm almost positive I played TF2 on this system right after I built it. DxDiag is attached, really hoping for a resolution soon!

Including three files here because I tested on three computers. Two with 10th gen processors and one with a 7th gen processor. The older one being able to access the game still while the others aren't.

Hi again @Hydrofreeze98 and @fireinthesky7
I do need to confirm one more thing for the team. Are your PCs connected to the internet via wifi, or are they using a network cable?

Ethernet usually; my PC doesn't have a WiFi card, but I tried connecting to my home WiFi using a USB adapter and it made no difference.
- 5 years ago@EA_Kent I've tried outright wifi, tried an ethernet adapter and a range extender, tried hardwiring myself to the router directly. Nothing. Even using USB solutions don't work for wireless wifi.
Also, heads up, using the windows insider build does not make a difference. Just tried that last night. - EA_Kent5 years ago

Thanks for the info.
Can you test something else for me? What happens if you disable the other network adapters in Windows aside from your active connection? Do you still run into the same error?

Unless I connect the USB Wifi adapter, I don't have anything besides the ethernet adapter showing in my network options. Driver is up to date, I tried disabling and re-enabling it just to see if that worked. No dice.
- 5 years ago@EA_Kent Same as @fireinthesky7, I've tried USB adapters and no luck came from that. Even disabling the other network adapters did nothing.

I just found out that most of the titanfall devs left respawn after discontinuing updates for titanfall 2. Are there still people who can fix things like this working there?

The issue is still under investigation. There are folks looking into it. I'm sorry I don't have any updates to share at the moment, but I'll be sure to follow up here if I have more info.

- 5 years ago@EA_Kent Hi again! I'm just writing this to say that one of my friends bought the game and the multiplayer seems to be running fine for him. the problem may have something to do with how the game was bought. I used a code to redeem it and he bought directly from origin.
I still think it's based on the hardware. If you don't mind me asking, what are you trying to play from again? PC? Laptop?
Also I was wondering where this thread was. I really hope this gets fixed. I wanna get back into the field on my new PC...
- 5 years ago@Hydrofreeze98 Laptop. I can run the campaign just fine, same with apex. My wifi and laptop are good enough to run more demanding games as well.
- 5 years ago@themastersword08 Same here. How recent is the laptop again? Specifically what processor, are we talking 10th gen intel?
- 5 years ago@Hydrofreeze98 The laptop is a microsoft surface, not built for gaming but works well enough. i think it has an intel i7 but i'm not sure.
I guess the question would be what generation of processor does it have.
If you're running it just off of the surface does that mean it's running off of intel graphics or are you using something like the surface book or whatnot?
- 5 years ago@Hydrofreeze98 ah ok, its a 10th gen processor. I'm no computer expert but I know that the laptop has an intel graphics card. Are you using a direct connection?
- 5 years ago@themastersword08 I bought directly through Origin and I've had the game for upwards of three years. This just started happening to me in April when I tried to run it on my new build, until then no problems at all. The only thing I changed was my PC hardware.
- 5 years ago@fireinthesky7 well it seems like there isn't a fix right now apart from using a different computer and I doubt that this is a priority.
I've been having this issue as well since I bought the game in april or may. My laptop is a Razer Blade Stealth with GPU GTX1650 Ti and Intel i7 processer. I don't really know much about computers but I've tried almost every fix suggested in other forums and advice given from EA help. I start the game and the multiplayer option is locked as the game cannot locate any servers. I've tried reinstalling both the game and origin, clearing my laptop's DNS, connecting to ethernet instead of wifi and turning off all other network adapters, fixing the game through origin, contacted my internet service provider to ensure that the correct ports were open, and I even reinstalled windows to make sure that the problem wasn't due to my laptop. I honestly don't know what else to do. ):
I tried contacting EA support three times but no one could help me! D:
I even bought the game twice! Once through steam and once through origin itself as I really love Titanfall 2 and used to play it on the Xbox before I switched to PC. I really want my game to work and I hope there's a fix for this issue. ):
