Hi Kent
This process does not seem to show up in my task manager, at all. Even after a reboot and immediately looking at my processess, I never see it turn up. Nothing seems to be hogging a lot of resources, apart from what appears to be normal (eg: firefox when a lot of tabs are open)
I did some looking into this, and I could not find the 'mrtXXXX.tmp' file in my Temp folder that this malware seems to hide itself in.
I also tried opening TF2 and looking at my processess, even then I could not find it and resources seemed to be being used up as normal (with things such as steam, origin, and the game itself hovering around the top)
I went ahead and factory reset my laptop to keep things simple whether or not there was malware.
After reinstalling TF2, multiplayer still does not connect.

Thanks for following up! Just to confirm are you connecting your laptop to the internet via wifi, or is it using a LAN cable?/Kent

No worries, thanks!
Just to confirm, have you double-checked to make sure all the proper ports for Titanfall 2 are open on your network? You can find more info on the specific ports over at the EA Help website. Let me know if opening up the ports helps at all. Thanks again.
/Kent
