Titanfall 2 Won't Install On EA
Whenever I attempt to play titanfall 2 which I have installed on Steam. EA opens up like normal but then closes saying "Go to library to double-check Titanfall 2 Deluxe Edition is installed properly. If the game's already installed, click the 3 dots on the game tile to manage and repair files." Whenever I click those 3 dots the only thing it brings up is "manage add-ons" which are all installed through steam so I can't do anything through there.
Hi @Foto400 To check has any of the following happened?
- Was the game first installed by a different Steam account?
- Did you install the game on one drive, and then manually move it to another?
- Does Windows have read/write permissions for the drive TF2 is installed in?
Also, if you have not can we try the following?
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
- EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)
- Steam - Verify in your library
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Check Drivers, Default to High-Performance GPU: Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Install/Repair your VC++ files for your game (Microsoft VC++ Link)
- Restart your device in Clean Boot mode, then just try running the client and game
