Titanfall 2 won't launch, EA app error "0xc00000ba"

I bought the game recently on steam. When ever I try to launch it, it will either load the EA app and not launch or i'll get a appliction failed to launch error with the code 0xc00000ba. I only have ...

Hi @North637 

When installing on Steam it will ask you which drive to install the game to that would be the location. I believe you can also right-click on the game in steam and see where it is installed. 

On that storage drive, you should be able to right-click the install folder > Select Properties

- Make sure Read-only is unchecked

- Under the "security" tab make sure your account on the device has full access/control

I tried to do this but the Read-only keeps becoming checked. The security account does have full access/control and the game still won't launch. I just wanted to make sure this is what i'm supposed to be trying to uncheck?

    Hi @North637, Yes. To check is there another Account or security software that might be changing/forcing settings?
