Titanfall Fails to load Maps and Crashes on PC

I am running an Alienware M17X with Crossfire ATI 4870 M graphics cards.  All of my drivers are up to date as the program would not even start before installing all of these new drivers.  The game starts fine.  All of the menus and intro movie work fine.  But once I get to the map loading screen right before entering a match or before entering training, it loads and loads and loads for about 5 minutes and then goes to a black screen where the game promptly crashes.   I uninstalled and am currently reinstalling the game.  I changed my port forwarding on my router as well to see if this might fix the issue.  This is not a memory problem either as I have monitored my memory usage and it only uses about 4 out of 8 Gigs of available ram while this loading occurs.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I have seen multiple incidents like this reported, but have yet to find a definite solution.  thanks!

You may need to obtain and install an aftermarket graphics driver.  See what the Omega Drivers Net driver does for you.

I already did this.  Like I said, the game starts fine.  It just wont load the match.  it gets stuck at the map loading screen.  From what I can tell,  this seems like a newer problem as most other posts covering it were posted with in the last week.

Have you tried disabling Crossfire. A lot of games lately have not played well with SLI or crossfire and it is necessary to disable them to play several recent games.

I actually hadn't tried that yet.  I will give it a go soon.  I am installing right now, so I will give it a shot first without, then with and post back with the results

I'm having the same problem, it crashes as im trying to either join a public game, or try the training, the loading screen happens and then at the point where it would put you in the game, it crashes instead of putting you in the game, its annoying and i've tried everything to fix it... I want a refund for this game before its too late.

I tried both disabling crossfire and playing with crossfire after uninstalling/reinstalling the game and opening up ports on my router.  None of the above worked.  I am currently using a guru3d modded driver.  Please advise.

is this issue going to be addressed at all?  It is pretty frustrating as this game is not even that demanding.  I can run plenty of other demanding games no problem
