Titanfall Minimizes When Launched

I used to play Titanfall just fine on my PC. Uninstalled for a while to play other games, came back to it today and now when I launch it, I can hear the intro running, but the game is minimized and when I click to focus it, it reminimizes.

Not sure what the problem is. Nothing has changed since I last played it. I do have 2 monitors, but it was working fine with 2 before. Not sure if that makes a difference.

  • This worked for me:

    Turn off: Interactive Services Detection

Start -> Type msconfig and hit enter
Find and uncheck - Interactive Services Detection (you may need to sort the list by service to find it)
    Select OK and Restart

If it still doesn't work try and close the systray programs one by one and see which one prevents the game from going fullscreen.

  • Hi,

I just purchased and successfully downloaded and installed Titanfall on my PC.

However, after starting the game, it will always minimize itself back to the desktop time and time again.

I then have to manually maximize the game to be able to continue playing it, but it will still keep on minimizing.

It is very frustrating as this constant non-stop minimizing error prevents me from fully being able to enjoy playing the game.

I do not know what is causing this regular minimization problem and I would greatly appreciate anyone's help in resolving this situation quickly.

    Thank you.

Actually was fixed for me by exiting Google Chrome.

And even further - killing all its related processes with Task manager.

  • Don't mean to be a thread necromancer, had this exact issue today, this was the top result when searching, running Win 10 pro on 16GB vengeance 2666, i7 5820k, R9 graphics, shutting down teamviewer solved it for me.

Shutting down TeamViewer also is what worked for me.  Thanks for pointing that out!
