titanfall res wont go over 1280x920?!?!

They didn't port over the option to increase resolution at all for PC.

Hi,

you could try to edit the video config file.

# Disable Origin cloud storage so there is not change the file gets copied back from there after changing it

# Open the "your documents"\Respawn\Titanfall\local folder

# Open videoconfig.txt

# Find the following lines

    "setting.defaultres"        "1680"
    "setting.defaultresheight"        "1050"

# Change the values to the right resolution

# Save the file and start the game to test the settings

# If ok, you can reenable Origin Cloud Storage. When asked to sync on the next start of the game, sync local to cloud.

You could also try to backup videoconfig.txt and then delete it. When you start the game

a new config file will be created.

thanks for the suggestion but im afraid that didnt work unfortunately ☹️ would reinstalling be any help at all? dont really want to do it but if i have to i will.

I really do not know it this would work. With some games it solves certain problems. As the

game is new I have not seen this problem before.

i have been having the same problem but it wont go over 1280x720 for me and i have tried everything to fix it minus uninstalling and reinstalling so i guess we are just going to have to live with it lol...it happens hopefully they will fix it...but i kinda doubt it...i think it is a problem with the auto video settings system in the game...
