@MistaSilva Hey, copying stuff from the other folders wouldn't help. You can run the appropriate VC packages again as it won't really do any harm, but I suspect it won't help. If you ran them once and there wasn't an obvious problem, running them again from another location won't have an effect.
Back on your issue, what version of Windows do you have? Sometimes this issue can be caused by missing updates, can you try checking for said OS updates?

Hi David, thanks for your response! I'm afraid I'm clutching at straws here...
I'm on Windows 8.1, and as far as I know, all Updates are in place, but I shall have another look at that.

are u try to reinstall vc++ in this way?
a) all install run as Admin;
b) before install this, delete all already installed versions;
c) if you have x64 OS, you'd install x32 and x64 packages of all versions:
VC2005 (хххххх80.dll), VC2008 (хххххх90.dll), VC2010 (ххххх100.dll),VC2012 (ххххх110.dll), VC2013 (ххххх120.dll), VC2015 (ххххх140.dll)
