Here I have the same problem, some times it goes further than others but, I haven't playied the game yet.
And I have seen the same ntdll error.

Did everything on the possible fix I posted earlier, now downloading the game.
I'll post again if it worked or not (it will take about 8 hours).

The guy who posted the solution had the same problem and after trying many things for days, says it worked for him.
No, I have an AMD PhenomII X3 720, so the problem can't be related to Intel CPUs and chipsets only.
The thing is I managed to play about two weeks ago just fine. I tried about three days ago to play and had the problem we're all having in this topic.
edit: sadly it didn't work, same result...
