I've never used that function and therefore don't know how it works, but I do know that as a general rule when something is reported it, at some point, gets looked into and if evidence to support an accusation is found necessary steps are taken. If no evidence of cheating is found no further steps are taken. If a cheater is good at covering up their tracks, they're safe. If an accused cheater isn't cheating but rather insanely good at, or lucky while playing, the game no further steps are taken.
I get your frustration but whimsical punishments are worse than allowing accused players to carry on playing. Being banned because someone else gets salty is not a fun experience.
@ICA_CourierLook at your keybinds. The system is super clunky and unintuitive on PC, you have to use keys like PageUp, PageDown etc. by default and by the time you figured it out, the match is probably over.
Also, it's probably a waste of time and Respawn hasn't been the most competent team when it comes to identifying and dealing with cheaters in the past. For example, just look up a player called "Benchy". This guy was even featured on the title screen of Titanfall 2 with his montage (where Rendy's video is linked these days)... in which he was aimbotting. It took the effort of community members to expose and get rid of this clown. That's probably the most prominent case and those were the times when Respawn devs were still active in TF2...
A few month ago, I had a case were someone was using racial slurs to insult players. So I used the support system here and my ticket (screenshot attached) was closed with "No Fix available". No further comment. So yeah.... good luck!
- 4 years ago@DeadEcho82 What? That's just messed up. I assumed things were a little more decent than that, but if that's the frame of reference I'm starting to understand why OP is upset. If that's their experience, I totally get it. My personal experience, especially in my earlier days playing multiplayer, has been that the more experienced players just have a better understanding of the maps, game mechanics and have developed a sharp intuition with the weapons and team play, which to the less experienced player may come off as op bordering on cheating. I also assume that this is why the guy that accused me of cheating was upset - I was simply more experienced as a player. This, of course, does not translate to why that *-hat that used racial slurs wasn't banned, which is a completely different kind of story.
- 4 years ago@DeadEcho82 I found this while searching for more info on the ddos attacks, is it relevant to what you said about that guy using racial slurs? Same guy?

NOW cheater are happy playing in this game, almost every match you will have some cheaters in
EA is surrender to those cheaters, provide playground for those cheaters!!!!!!
seems cheaters are more important than normal players oh!
- 4 years ago@deapblue01 What kind of cheating are they pulling off? How are they cheating and how, exactly, does it affect you? Which platform are you playing on?
I'm not doubting that there are cheaters active in the game, but if you want the community to back you up you need to provide some intel on what you've experienced.- 4 years ago
@ICA_CourierI report thousand times, I am tired to do EA's job, EA didn't pay me! I don't live with this game!
Next time, I'll tell my friends don't buy EA FPS game, cause EA game for cheaters, not for playersstupid let cheaters play policy
