Question

Wont let me install says I need vista 6. I dont think in this day and age I shouldhave to purchase a prior version of windows t o play my games. This version of windows does have a touch screen. Origin works on my windows 8 computer that does not have a touch screen. Ive tried running it in all possible compatibility modes to no avail.

I just had this issue as well. It turns out I was running the Origin client in Windows XP compatibility mode, which is a tweak I had done to play another origin game. As soon as I unchecked it, it worked perfectly.&nbsp;

It's the 32 bit vesus 64 bit that is probably your problem.&nbsp; Since you offered little information, that's only a WAG.

I've been having the same problem where it will say that I need to upgrade to a higher version of windows above vista 6.0 but I have windows 8.1 64 bit

Visit the Microsoft Windows Updates Center and collect all of the updates for your Windows, get them all running, and see what happens next.

I'm running Titanfall on my Win8.1 Pro/64-bit rig with no problems.&nbsp; 😕mileywink:

(Well, no problems except for my too small 2.25Mbps DSL pipe, but that's not the game's fault!)
