I'm trying to create a college campus/adults area so thought it fit in ok here I'm saving the blank space for when we get the university :-)

This was the only spot in my town where it seems to fit even a little:I'm having two issues, though. First, I have no idea what to do with that empty space behind the building. I wish I could expand the structure a bit, but I can't think of anything in the game that matches this odd color scheme. I'd also like to be able to do a "computer junk yard" full of broken towers and old monitors, but we don't have those among our decorations or debris. So, for now, it's boring.I also had to displace kbbl from this spot, and now I'm not sure where to put that. For now, it's in the woods on the edge of town. I think it will prove easier to place than this weird little building with the gigantic statue next to it, though.

Nuero, you could move the building back a bit and add a couple of parking places. Those bistro table and chairs have a matching colour scheme so you could add a couple of those with a kebab cart or coffee/cocoa cart for an outdoor Internet cafe area...That's all I have right now...

I suppose I could put parking behind it. (I don't want to move it back because of the giant, awkward statue.) That still seems a bit dull, though. I think the tables are a bit too orange for it. It's fairly pink. I wish there were generic tables without the weird tile.

Shame I can't really expand the structure with these. My attempts to make "walls" with them looked completely off. Wish it just matched the brick walls. (Or had been designed to go a little further back, but that ship has clearly sailed. And we don't need them changing more buildings after the fact!!)

AJ and bee, those are some nice designs.

Neuroheart, I wonder how it'll look if you fence in the block--at least in the back parking area. Can leave a gate for cars to get in. Might work and fill up the blank space. Alternately, it might not look good at all -- feel free to disregard.

This is a cute building. It does look like an old gas station that was converted. There are dozens of these around Atlanta metro where i live...

...and Usually there's a newer gas station with convenience store across the street which put it out of business... So this spot between the kwik e mart and the UI office seemed appropriate.

Placed mine in the more or less "undeveloped" (aka recently added land) area of my Springfield, so the surroundings are rather bare for now, but this is what I put together. The added "building" is supposed to be an extra storage room with corrugated roofing. May end up changing the type of fencing (just had some extras of the tan ones lying around so giving them a test run).
