Doh! Never mind, just saw the other link. First i thought it was only the big squares of hedge. I see now. Awesome work!!

Maybe you can make some words or characters out of the empty spaces, rather than just empty rectangles. Make the 7500 limit work for you instead of against you. Like put TSTO or something?

I wanted to make a hedge maze like this in KL. Would have been a fun use of the extra real estate which has no purpose atm.
