Yep. I lived in Colorado for a few years and actually didn't know that was the hotel. We were out playing tourist and visiting different places and saw the sign proclaiming it as the location for the Shining. It is a really creepy place, lol.

Google it, might give you some design ideas if you see the way their grounds are, etc.
