Regarding boardwalk tiles. I have 402 in storage and and estimate over 200 placed. The yellow submersible stills brings them up for me.
Somebody has probably already done the math on this but according to my calculations it would take 1,912 boardwalk tiles to cover the ocean area if you use the area select trick to drag sections onto the beach. The mountains between Springfield and Springfield Heights block 8 tiles from being placed. (12 × 160 - 8)
Without using the area select to drag tiles it would take 1,756 tiles. (11 × 160 - 4)
