Wedding Stuff

Bestman and Maid of Honor Groommen and Bridesmaids flower girl and ring barrier female Sims have not only the engagement ring but the wedding band. Veils and bouquets wedding gowns. Toasts, more wedding cake options. Dance with father and first dance as married couple. Walk down aisle option.

See, I love the idea, it just sounds lovely, but because Weddings are already so integral to Sims, I think all of these in general should be a free pack and/or just be included in a free base game update.

I would love to see more types of wedding dresses; short, modern, ballgown etc. And of course VEILS! I would also love for them to fix the cut the cake option, where instead of the selected sin chasing down the new spouse and feeding them cake in the bathroom, or wherever, they come together wherever the cake is and cut it and feed it to eachother there.

Yes, slow dance animation so I don't have to use poses.

really cutting the cake together and stuffing the other sims face with it :wink:
having the maid of honor and best man give a speech
and have the married couple walk away and the guests wave at them

i knowthis can't possibly fit in a stuff pack but i would love to see them added in one wa or another

This seems like a good concept for an SP or as a part of a broader romance pack. I agree with most of what has already been said. I'd want decor for more types of weddings. If they really want, they could add a wedding planner feature or something. There could be more cakes, signature cocktails, more possible themes. More dress, veil and tux options could accompany the different themes.

Examples of themes? Extremely formal or "princess-style", rustic (I know there's a different wedding arch for that already), casual/backyard/budget, beach, modern, updated traditional, etc. Yeah, I know that you can put a wedding basically anywhere now but weddings are pretty generic and basic.

I'm not obsessed with weddings but with a rotation, there are a lot of them in my game so I'd like them to be more customizable, less formulaic and less boring. They could add some "generations" moments with emotional speeches and more teary eyes. I like the idea of gifts or even a shower/bachelor/bachelorette party. They could bring back the champagne toast if that hasn't already come back.

I agree about the return of slow-dancing. Kids at a wedding could have their own goofy interactions like their own funny dances. I don't know, I liked Generations. I'd make it a way to bring all the ages together.

I'd love slow dancing and everything that has been mentioned so far! Also, first looks would be amazing.

I love all of this....and for me this brings up the loyalty thing that is so desperately needed in this game! I'm so tired of married couples flirting and doing that stupid enchanted introduction. It's disgusting. Why did I even do a soul mate aspiration if they're going to continue being stupid? If I wanted a player I'd play a player. I want LOYAL and faithful, but apparently that's not an option.

All these ideas would be perfect and I'd certainly buy it. The wedding feature is so dull and uneventful....and honestly I had NO clue about them cutting the cake together and feeding each other until about a few months ago and my Sims have been married for over a year :P Weddings are an important part of a Sim I think and it should be presented as that. I would certainly buy this pack!
