The Truckasaraus (is that how you spell it?) is meant to be underground so it doesn't spoil the countryside. :-)maximbarne126 wrote:

Close enough lol but oh ok yeah i think if you use walls also like along the fences it'd look better- AnnathewickedRising TravelerBetter- need all chain link across the front - make chain the top and the iron the underground part- you need to separate for the brain to be fooled on the two levels....
If that makes sense Annathewicked wrote:

Yep - You've gotten some good advice, and Drosax's pic should prove a good model (love the use of canons!).
Perhaps it'll be useful to remember that you're trying to trick the minds of people viewing, as Anna pointed out, by using game items to imitate drawings. For instance, the fences in Drosax's pic are like the shaded area in this pic (a near random Google image I just found in a search):

You'll get the hang of it in no time, and remember that there is no "right" way of doing 3D since we're all deliberately using items in the "wrong" way. Just keep in mind that you're trying to trick people into seeing a 3D image the same way artists do. The difference is you're using fences, walls, hedges, etc. instead of paint, ink, charcoal, etc. maximbarne126 wrote:

Better?
The problem with that one is that the upper level of fences is too transparent and breaks the 3d effect in the two south sides (especially the east corner). Use walls instead of upper-fences like in the volcano lair picture, and leave the lower fences as they are. It will be fine.Pinpal00 wrote:
