A Level ZERO Friend Request? Really?

I thought I should post this in case it's some kind of scam or hack. I got a Friend Request (unsolicited) this morning from a level ZERO player. Never seen a level zero player before so that's why I declined it. Any thoughts on this?

It's probably related to the server issues.

I was a level zero for a short time after I got the glitch and EA was working on it.
