I mean no offense to the OP, but I've never though much of either building. That being said, after some of the posts here, I'm reconsidering the Open Air Theater.
It sounds like a cross between the Bounce House and the Drive-In Theater, in that there's no innate earnings from either until you actively assign a task (like both), which "employs" a character for that time period (like the former), and gives you a unique animation depending on choice (like the latter).
But it pays out a premium for the task, regardless whether you're using a standard/premium character, right?
Hmm... I have seen some pretty neat designs with the OAT, benches, parks, etc. Some of those animations seem pretty cool, too... I'll have to check the Wiki to see who all has tasks there...
