Advantages to Incorporating Krustyland...

Personally speaking, this event is not my favorite. Trading a five-to-ten second upload time to travel to Krustyland for a thirty-to-sixty second lag every time I try to move a group of items was not worth it. Still, I can be thankful that the introduction of Krustyland items into Springfield is a good thing.

First off, there's a lot of items that were previously only usable at the Squidport that now can be used anywhere. We can now have hot dog and popcorn stands on the mainland. That pesky palm tree -- the first one, the one we could only use on Springfield Heights beach and that one inch of land in between the land and ocean -- can now be placed anywhere if you bought it with tickets instead of cash.

Second, a lot of Krustyland exclusive items look at home in Springfield. I just built a seaside arcade in Squidport using the game booths from Krustyland. We can now have a chain of Itchy and Scratchy stores rather than just the one at Squidport. And I'm sure we'll find creative ways to use the Krustyland paths.

Anyone else finding useful ways to incorporate Krustyland into Springfield?
  • I like it a lot. It reminds me of my youth, going to Adventureland. (closed 1977, Roselle, IL *wiki*)

Adventureland was right on a busy road, across the street from a private golf course (Medinah) and on the edge of a larger subdivision. A magical place.

My Krustyland will sort of be the same. On the edge of town, where real estate is cheap. Just like Krusty would do it.
