To make the longest questline ever. I think if they had like 80 24 hour tasks, and made it a 2-pronged storyline it would take a good portion of time. So therefore can have a lasting questline. They can still do other levels and what not. But I guess that would prevent them from having any farm tasks for any future events, unless they allowed us a second farm (again).
