Amazon Fire tablet - compatable?

I play 99% of the time on my Kindle Fire. When I get the black screen I power off completely for about a minute then turn it back on. I try to clear my cache weekly, and use my cloud for almost everything except books I'm actively reading and apps I use every day.

If it freezes when you're in the middle of a transaction don't restart. Wait for it to ask if you want to force close or you will loose your money/donuts and not get your item. Then it's a fun time with EA customer service to get your item or donuts back. It will freeze if your cache gets too full. Painful personal experience.

  • Yes I play this game on mine. When it does this to me I just shut it down and then reboot it.
  • I play exclusively on Fire tablet and as above posters suggest, try clearing cache.
I have to do this frequently especially as I run 2 towns on it.
  • Thanks!
I deleted the game and reinstalled it.
I also cleared the cache and after about letting it sit for 5 mins, the app started running.
I now have a brand new feeder town :D
  • On regular Android, there's a task viewer that you can see your recently used apps and swipe away to force close one, or tap an X. Does the Fire have anything like that? It's been a few years since I had a Fire tablet, and I can't remember.
  • I play mostly on my fire tablet, but some things I've learned are just easier on my iPhone.

I haven't been able to purchase donuts at all on my fire. At first it would go through the transaction but I wouldn't get the donuts and I'd have to call amazon to get a refund, which sucks because sometimes they have deals on coins. So I now only buy through my phone.

I also have to keep apps in the cloud or it really slows me down, and sometimes friend visits are painfully slow so I usually do those on my phone.
