Anyone else having trouble getting into the game?

I can get into my Springfield for about 30 secs - a minute then it crashes. Also after I completed rockets red glare pt 3. It started me over on rockets red glare pt 3.

Every time I've opened it today (after it downloaded the update) I've gotten the Bart screen. Then retry will work to load my town, but then it will crash after a minute or so. It took three tries to get the fireworks quest started. My usual tricks of clearing the cache and force stopping have no effect. I'm on Android, so it doesn't even appear to be a platform issue :?

As to your question, I've not had that specific problem, but a new one of my own. On my nexus, only since the current update hit, every time I load the program I get the Bart screen ... I hit "retry" which NEVER worked in the past, and it then loads up just fine.

Just this one device. Not my other android (Samsung Galaxy) and not my iPad. Every single time. Uninstalled, reinstalled, walked around the house three times counter-clockwise singing all the verses to "City of New Orleans" ... Nothing worked.

Did you try The Star Spangled Rex Banner? We are in the midst of the 4th Of July mini event after all :lol:

I don't have him yet. I'm , like, a "fallen-away" Simpsons watcher. Plus, that song only works if jets fly overhead in formation when I "sing" the part that goes "and the land of the freeeeeeeeeeeee"

BTW, do you know that your Faberge egg "I found it" badge in your signature is cut off and all I'm seeing is the top half, which says "Holy crap!" with no context whatsoever? Gotta wonder what the newbies think ... Makes me smile. ;)

Yes.

Every time I go in I get too many seconds of black screen, then the welcome screen, then get kicked out. When I hit retry I have then got in every time. I thought it was just me.

I have another problem. I can't identify all the people who are visiting my Springfield. The majority have the names of visiting neighbours floating up as normal when you tap on them. Maybe 8 or 10 have just given up cash, no name. I decided to keep a check last week when I realised that some people were not doing any visiting during Stonecutters. I'm planning to remove the selfish neighbours who don't give back but I need to be sure. Hope they fix this soon.

I got the bart issue a lot today. Not a big deal, when I tap "retry" everything loads 100%. But I noticed I crash more when visiting friends, during stonecutters I crashed maybe once in 100 neighbors, today I crashed 5 times at least.
