The Kamp Krusty and Rod and Todd quest lines will take priority for me. I will do what I can in Krusty Land until I'm done with those. You might as well as start it. It has around 40 task to complete and the currency in Krusty Land is tickets. Start saving up on tickets because you money is useless in Krusty Land.
I am actually having reverse priorities: Krustyland has first priority over regular quests and I am sending characters there on tasks which are rewarded with tickets as much as possible. Why? Because Krustyland prices will not change, and prices for buildings in regular quest line are dropping as soon as new level is out, so it makes sense to build slower main buildings and put all efforts into KL.
Of course, that doesn't mean that I stopped all regular quests, it's just that characters have priority for KL quests and in spare time I send them earning tickets rather then money. I am still earning money, just slower. Yes, it may slow me down somewhat but if in meantime new level is published and prices for buildings in level 31 and 32 go down I will be happy.
Note that I started playing near the end of whacking day so I still didn't finish all Agnes Skinner and Herman quests, and did not even started Wolfcastle mansion, so I am several buildings behind regular players. Similar tactics I used during Squidport - I was still around 19th level when it was released, I started it and begin to making tiles but then put SP quests on hold until I didn't catch up with all normal quests with buildings without modifiers, where prices were "final" (at the time it were levels ending with 24, as levels 25-30 had modifiers). Then I put all effort in SP buildings and quests, and upon finishing, I resumed main quests. With KL there is somewhat different situation because there are two currencies, but still same criteria for managing priorities.
