Are Mystery Tokens Worth it?

I did and got some characters I did not had. But I also had lots of farmed donuts, so no harm done that way. I've stopped clearing Yearbook now as I hoard donuts for the Black Friday.

I'm KEM mining yes. But I stopped using donuts to buy from Yearbook Mystery Box. I checked the wiki what was in the mystery boxes in last years Black Friday and noticed that maybe I should use some of my donuts to clear the Yearbook. I mean there were several items costing 80 donuts in the BF mystery box that costs only 30 in the Yearbook. But I still want to have some donuts for next BF because there were lots of items that are not in YBMB.

I have a question about Black Friday if someone knows. If I buy the 2400 Donut boat will I win all the items on the prize track? My games are bugged so that I cannot buy the 300 and 900 donut sets.

@anjasundq82 re buying 2400: yes and you will (assuming same format as last year) get golden tokens for the golden mystery box with your purchase.

How do I get the donuts during the event? I get that I get some donuts but by KEM-mining now and not using them to clear out YBMB I have much more donuts when the event starts. Then I can check what items are both in the BL mysteryboxes I'm interrested in and YMBM and buy those off YMBM if the BL MB is pricier. But to do that I need lots of donuts and that's why I start hoarding them now.

I've done that previously. During Clash of Creeds there was Santa's Wonderland that you got tickets in Daily Challenges. I bought duplicates from YBMB with hoarded donuts so that my tickets could buy those that were only in the Santa's Wonderland. Worked wery nicely. and recuired masny YBMNB refresses.

I suspect that they are thinking about the Shattered Dreams tokens that are added to donuts purchases between events that can be used to get items from the Shattered Dreams box once you complete an event, as to Black Friday then hording donuts isn't a bad idea as there are usually quite a reasonable selection (all depending on the amount of premium items you already own) of items available for a reduced cost.

For this Halloween season do you prefer spending donuts on mystery tokens, yearbook items or mystery box? What do you think is the best strategy?
