Are we gonna have to downsize?

I am faced with that problem. I've already downsized my houses and crammed them into a gated community. I smashed the pink houses together to create row houses and I smashed the white houses together to create duplexes. I have a bit of "undeveloped land" left (land that I've bought but covered in trees and rivers so it looks like it would in the real world with land that has not been built on) but I'm not sure how long that will last.

I love the way my town is designed and really do not want to tear anything down.

I suppose I could tear down my hill that doubles as a campground and place for the observatory, sign, and my hillbillies but I would rather not do that.

I'm sure we find a way round it, this why I haven't built 3D models, although look good I think they take a lot of space

I'm level 27, and have like 2/3 of the land. Coming from someone that did not farm, had no visiting friends for months, nor had premium items for a while. I know my case is very different, but I feel I still can enjoy saving up for land. I think when you rush and get everything, that's where the game is no longer enjoyable. If I had all the land, I likely would have built out and been in the same ship. I can be thankful there's still plenty of land to acquire, and even a few more buildings (don't have the Popsicle stick tower or the 50 foot magnifying glass).

Been playing since May, got my first friends right before Halloween, and hit the max level (at the time) at Christmas. Super slow pace I know.

I really hope they add a land extension to the update. Personally I'm still nowhere near having all the land, but I've got lots of plans that ill need the space for. That and I started building the burns mansion compound towards the eastern border before realizing I would run out of space to expand :p. It would be much easier if the space was given instead of having to relocate.

I actually played super slow and reached the max level way before I finished the buildings. I wanted to decorate and design before getting buildings, it's why I got all the land and leveled up so quickly. Decorations give you tons of XPs.

I've just now finished the Lenny/Carl tasks. My son plays even slower, he's still not done with them!

Just because people have all the land doesn't mean they sped things up or rushed, I just liked the design aesthetics aspects of this game and wanted to do that over the completing of tasks.

This is the issue with ANY city building game. The creators can't possibly anticipate the kinds of things people are going to come up with, especially the "3D" that has started showing up. Or the art that some have created with decorations. And those things take up a LOT of space.

Heck, just like a real city you'll have to figure out what spans of land to sacrifice to build new development. And if some of it is to make room for Premium Content then you have to ask yourself if it's worth buying more premium content for now (maybe that helps send the message that you need more land to put all these buildings).

I haven't bought much in the way of land since the Valentine's update, and I still have some substantial space left. That's partially because I'm trying to save up for the Big 3, but also partially because limiting myself on land has helped me to better plan for new buildings. So now if we get a dozen new buildings all at once, I've got some plots of land to work with and a plan for how to rearrange things to still tell the story I want without "wasting" too much space to do it.

I've got the same problem! I filled almost all the place with decorations and buildings and I don't want to reduce any part of my town! I really hope EA will add some land...

I got plenty of land to buy. I only buy some when I need it.

But how do you have all the land then? I know the decor add XP, but they also subtract cash. So not sure how you have all the land, yet I do not. I've bought land when and where I needed to, then after Christmas I was stocking up the land as they didn't have those expensive buildings.

Basically I had to several points where I had to wait to have the cash to buy the new building, then it was extended if I needed a plot of land for it. My town is still quite basic, and has recently had some much needed makeovers with decor.

I've been at that point too, but at some point most people start earning close to 100,000 a day. That's when things changed and I was easily able to get the rest of the land.
