With Halloween, I've done daily. Non-halloween it's more like twice a week or so. There's little to no incentive to go during non-events. I have every purchasable item in the game (with in game cash), including all the land. So that 15 bucks per friend won't be a dent in my daily income. I also try to keep fewer friends during non-events since I feel bad about not visiting them.
