Are you preparing your town for Halloween?

I've put out my Freakshow Tent and my pumpkin house, and have Marge, Flanders and Burns in their Halloween skins and doing visual tasks. I also put my Fortune Teller building back out. Soon, I may put the cult donut shop back out. And, of course I have a jack-o-lantern here and there. Very much looking forward to the event.

I put out some pumpkins (I have over 400) and some dead tree's and pumpkin patches. I don't even remember what else I have in storage from Halloween.

I'm taking out all the stored jack-o-lateens this weekend (all the other halloween stuff has been out in my town all year). Other than that I'm just waiting to see what is released for the event and will make some decisions then as to where to put it all.

I wish I could trade you a "weeping angel" shrub for one of your 400 pumpkins. That's a lot of pumpkins...

Oh this brings me to a question... With seasonal events like this, do you find it is better to store your stuff? I've noticed some people keep it out. Do most of these items have multipliers?

I put my pumpkins away before x-mas. I left my dead tree's out till spring because I think the regular trees go bare as well till then plus there's snow on everything. I leave all my Halloween buildings out all year because they are shops and I like them. The only holiday decos that I can think of that give bonus xp percentage are some of the V-day decorations like the train, the hammock, and ponds. so if you have any of those you want them out all year.

I'd be happy to if we could but I have a lot of those shrubs too. Don't worry though, I'm sure they will be back and the good news is they are, or were very cheap. Last year (I just looked this up) the pumpkins were 135 in game cash each. I have about 90 million in game dollars so I may buy 400 more just because I can.

I don't think the halloween stuff has multipliers (at least the halloween stuff I have). I keep the buildings and cemeteries out all year because they pay out everyday...plus they look cool. I keep out some dead trees, pumpkin patches and skeleton trees out all year because they are good looking decorations for certain buildings but I store the jack-o-laterns. They just don't look good sitting out in my opinion once the Christmas event hits. :wink:

I keep most of my stuff out year-round, and I don't have Halloween skins for anyone, so my town isn't showing a lot of activity just yet. I should have bought more jack-o-lanterns last year.

...Having been here just since Xmas '13 I can just speak on having shoved my Xmas multiplier stuff over by my funky 'Escalator to Nowhere Monty Python flavor Park' corner, & stowed other decor away. As for my townscaping, I tend to blend things in w/some focused theme areas, & my Halloween stuff would be coming out now if I had any, aside from Ghost Maude :twisted:
