I put out some pumpkins (I have over 400) and some dead tree's and pumpkin patches. I don't even remember what else I have in storage from Halloween.
I wish I could trade you a "weeping angel" shrub for one of your 400 pumpkins. That's a lot of pumpkins...simpsons7795 wrote:
I'm taking out all the stored jack-o-lateens this weekend (all the other halloween stuff has been out in my town all year). Other than that I'm just waiting to see what is released for the event and will make some decisions then as to where to put it all.
Oh this brings me to a question... With seasonal events like this, do you find it is better to store your stuff? I've noticed some people keep it out. Do most of these items have multipliers?ZennGlenn wrote:
Glad to hear all this groovy stuff & to have SueT as a neighboreeno in my other (Zxtrm1)town 8)
...Having been here just since Xmas '13 I can just speak on having shoved my Xmas multiplier stuff over by my funky 'Escalator to Nowhere Monty Python flavor Park' corner, & stowed other decor away. As for my townscaping, I tend to blend things in w/some focused theme areas, & my Halloween stuff would be coming out now if I had any, aside from Ghost Maude
I agree. This is really good stuff to hear! And hello neighbour - I figured Zxtrm1 was someone I knew from the forum, but wasn't sure who!richardaca969 wrote:
So I guess people arent even checking the second page before starting a thread, huh?

Mine is a bit different from yours - yours is a thread excited about Halloween, and saying/speculating about what you/all of us hope is to come. Mine is asking about how people are preparing, and what they've done in the past... This is a different topic than yours.- oops. Double post.
- I'm really loving all the input and ideas!

skeleton Trees! I put those all away. Can't wait till I can log in today and see how many I have to place around town!
I know it may seem weird, but I keep a skeleton tree visible year round behind my Calmwood Mental Hospital. The workers just never seem to cut the guy down.
LOL!
John - I can't wait to see what you do with your decos!
Barry - I'm going to look for this the next time I visit!hasanmohamma wrote:

Aren't we forgetting the most important preparation? Watching old Treehouse of Horrors episodes.

exact same thing i'll do just before it hits. now i've the most recent stuff there.
I left my halloween stuff out all year, but now I'm putting it in the landing zone. I really like Halloween.
Cant wait for all the new stuff!!!
The landing zone, eh? (Yes, I am a stereotypical Canadian who says eh!, not to be confused with Rabbi Krustofsky's "eh."). That is a great idea! Just in case others want to know, how do you determine this (is it where it takes you when you log in? That's what I'm assuming, but I realize I could be wrong).
I think my lands on the Simpsons House, so I would have to move stuff to do that... And I hate moving things (just spent a good majority of the day yesterday moving certain things so I could put Krusty's mansions with the others. Had to move my factories and their decorations, then make everything fit... I may not be super creative with my designs, but I like to have things organized and looking nice for when a neighbour pops in). Maybe next year, though! :DPinpal00 wrote:

You've got it right.
