Yes, they were limited time. But how far into the quests were you? There was a glitch when the update was released on Thanksgiving, or maybe it was Friday, but the quests did not trigger. They did a hot fix on that and re released the update. But it you complained that it prevented you from finishing because you could only download the first update, then they may be able to help you get some of the items, like the cornucopia. I know it is a long shot, but you could give it a go. Good luck.
